The more perfect a thing is, the more susceptible to good and bad treatment it is"
Dante Alighieri

Our body is such an amazing machine, a masterpiece of Nature.
Biology lets us better understand the complexity behind this kind of “perfection”.
Since I was a child I was fascinated by natural sciences and later I developed the interest for cellular and molecular biology. During our life we encounter a considerable amount of dangerous, toxic, cancerous and pathogenic cues and, even we counteract them successfully, at the end we have to withstand the course of the time: ageing.

Deepening our knowledge, working hard to understand, to uncover the complexity of the cellular and molecular system will help us to contrast the “bad treatment” we have been facing every day. Ageing is such an interesting field of study, and that is why I decided to be part of the Code Age research project.
